Cheryl Gillan

Cheryl Elise Kendall Gillan (* April 21, 1952 in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales) is a British politician of the Conservative Party. From May 2010 to from September 2012 held the post of Minister for Wales.

Biography

The daughter of an officer in the British Army and later director of a steel company studied post-school law and was later at International Management Group ( IMG) operates an active in the areas of legal advice and sports marketing international group based in Cleveland, Ohio. After the electoral victory of the Conservative Party in the general election in 2010, she was appointed on 11 May 2010 by Prime Minister David Cameron Minister for Wales in the Cabinet. She was the first woman who runs the Ministry of Wales, yet she holds no constituency in Wales. As a minister, she sat still on a strong army presence in Wales, which she held for the development and growth of high-tech and other companies in the Welsh economy is important.
