The national road 312 (Chinese 312国 道, Pinyin 312 Guódào, English China National Highway 312), Chinese Abbr G312, with a length of 4967 km, the second longest in Chinese long-distance road to the National Highway G318 and runs in an east -west direction on the field of indirect government city of Shanghai, in the provinces of Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi and Gansu and in the autonomous regions of Ningxia and Xinjiang. It runs parallel to the motorway G40 from the metropolis of Shanghai over Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing, Hefei, Xinyang and Nanyang to Xi'an. From there, it runs parallel to the motorway G22 on Pingliang to Lanzhou and continue parallel to the highway G30 over Zhangye, Jiayuguan, Urumqi and Yining to the border with Kazakhstan.
