China Yangtze Power

China Yangtze Power ( CYPC ) is a Chinese company based in Beijing. The company has 50 listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange share index SSE.

The company manufactures and sells energy to its customers. China Yangtze Power was founded on 4 November 2002 and was floated on the Stock Exchange on 18 November 2003. China Yangtze Power came from a cooperation of Chinese companies Haneng Power International, China National Nuclear, China National Petroleum, Gezhouba Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Group and the Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research.

The company is the operator of the hydropower plant Gezhouba Power Station and the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River.
