City of Ryde

Ryde is located from the city center on the north side at the end of the harbor about 9 km. The area includes 30 districts: Adwill Place, Blenheim Road, Denistone, Denistone East, Denistone Heights, Denistone West, Faraday Park, Fullers Bridge, Glades Bay, Macquarie Centre, Macquarie Park, Macquarie University, Marsfield, Meadowbank, Monash Park, Putney, Ryde, East Ryde, North Ryde, Top Ryde, West Ryde, Sagar Place, Tennyson, Tennyson Point and parts of Chatswood West, Eastwood, Eastwood Heights, Epping, Gladesville and Melrose Park. The administrative headquarters of the Council located in the district in the south of Ryde LGA.

Management

The Ryde City Council has twelve members who are elected by the residents of three wards ( four each from East, West and Central Ward). These three districts are set independently of the districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
