Claus Spahn

Claus Spahn ( born May 15, 1940 in Bottrop ) is a former TV editor of the WDR, presenter, producer and author, who in 2001 was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit. He is the brother of television presenter and journalist Thomas Spahn.

Life

Spahn studied theater history, German literature, philosophy and art history at the University of Cologne and was founded in 1969 with a thesis on the theater history of the Ruhr to 1933 Dr. phil. doctorate. From 1969 to 2005 he was editor of the WDR television. He produced numerous broadcast series, portraits, documentaries and programs for culture and cultural policy.
