Clyde Kusatsu

Clyde Kusatsu (Japaneseクライド 草津, Kuraido Kusatsu; * September 13, 1948 in Honolulu, Hawaii ) is an American actor of Japanese descent.

Life and career

Clyde Kusatsu was born in Honolulu and grew up there. He there attended the Iolani High School and one year at Northwestern University ( Illinois) studied theater, and meanwhile played minor roles.

He had his first guest-starring roles in the American crime series Kung Fu, at the side of David Carradine, and in M * A * S * H. His first major film was Battle of Midway in 1976.

Later Kusatsu has appeared in many series, sometimes leading roles. In the soap opera Young and the Restless, he played for six years in 27 episodes. Strikingly often he formerly occupied for physician roles. Besides, he also had guest roles in animated series.

Kusatsu has two sons with his wife Gayle.
