Colin Long

Colin Long ( born June 19, 1989 in Santa Ana, California) is an American professional ice hockey player and coach who stands since July 2012 at the Düsseldorf issued in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Long began his career in 2005 in the Western Hockey League Kelowna Rockets in the. In the 2007 /08 season he scored 31 goals and 100 points and was named for the WHL East First All-Star Team. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 to 99 out of the Phoenix Coyotes and signed there on 1 October 2009 his first professional contract, but was sent to the American Hockey League for the San Antonio Rampage, where he four points in 29 games achieved before he suffered a head injury in January, which meant the end of the season.
