Comanche Municipality

The municipality Comanche is a district in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Comanche is one of eight Municipalities of the province Pacajes and lies in the northern part of the province. It is bordered to the west by the municipality of Caquiaviri, to the south by the municipality of Coro Coro, on the east by the province of flavor, and the north by the province Ingavi.

The municipality includes 36 villages ( Localidades ), central location of the municipality is Comanche with 410 inhabitants ( 2001 census ) in the central part of the county.

Geography

The municipality Comanche is on an average height of 4000 m south of Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental and the Cordillera Central in the west to the east.
