Cristian Dulca

Cristian Alexandru Dulca ( born October 25, 1972 in Cluj ) is a former Romanian football player and current coach. He played a total of 133 games in the Romanian Divizia A and the Hungarian Nemzeti National Championship. Since June 2013 he has been head coach of Gaz Metan Medias.

Career

Association

The career of Dulca began at CFR Cluj in Divizia B. In 1995 took him Erstligist Gloria Bistrita under contract. During the winter break 1995/96 he moved to league rival Rapid Bucharest. There the season 1997/98 was the most successful of his career. In addition to the runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest he won with his team the Cup final against Universitatea Craiova.

At the beginning of 1999 left Dulca Rapid and moved to the South Korean K -League to Pohang Steelers. After a year he returned to Romania Piatra Neamt back to Ceahlăul. With Ceahlaul he finished the 1999/2000 season in fourth place and qualified for the Intertoto Cup. During the winter break 2000/ 01 he joined the league rivals Gaz Metan Medias. There he came only three bets and had to descend as Table. Dulca then moved to Universitatea Cluj in his hometown. After only two months of the Hungarian first division Kispest Honvéd Budapest took him under contract. There he struggled with his team to the Class whereabouts. At the beginning of 2003 he joined Politehnica AEK Timişoara. After the end of the season 2002 /03 he ended his active career.

National

Dulca played six games for the Romanian national team. He made his debut on 19 November 1997 when he came off the bench in a friendly against Spain in the 79th minute for Tibor Selymes. In the following games, he was always in the squad and coach Anghel Iordănescu nominated him for the 1998 World Cup in France. There he stood in the group match against Tunisia on 26 June 1998 on the grid, but was replaced after just 32 minutes against Gheorghe Popescu. This was also his last international game.

Coach

After the end of his active career Dulca worked as a football coach. In the summer of 2008, he was an assistant coach at FC Vaslui Viorel Hizo and was also adopted by his successor Viorel Moldovan. After Moldovan's resignation in May 2009 Dulca was head coach. He finished the season 2008/ 09 from two wins and qualifying for the Europa League. After a shaky start in the season 2009/ 10, it was the end of September replaced by Dorin Zotincă. Then he took his playing in the Liga II former club Universitatea Cluj and led him back to the top flight. Since he did not have the proper license, he had to vacate his seat for Marian Pană and change in the youth field. In October 2010, he left "U Cluj " to second division Delta Tulcea. In summer 2012 he returned, left the club in early October but already again to be as an assistant coach Viorel Hizo. In early April 2013, there was laid off along with Hizo. Since the beginning of the 2013/14 season he has been head coach of first division side Gaz Metan Medias.
