The Crnogorski Telekom A.D. ( German Montenegrin Telekom, Telekom Crne Gore until 2006 ) is a telecommunications company in Montenegro, located in the capital Podgorica. It is listed as a public company on the Montenegro Stock Exchange. Majority owned by Magyar Telekom, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.

History

The company was founded on 31 December 1998 Posta Crne Gore addition to being one of the successor companies of the state enterprise PTT Montenegro.

In 2005, the privatization of Telekom Crne Gore was decided. April 1, 2005 acquired the Hungarian subsidiary Magyar Telekom, which belongs to Deutsche Telekom, a total of 76.53 percent of shares. In September 2006, the two brand name T -Com and T -Mobile have been established. Telekom Crne Gore changed its name to Crnogorski Telekom.

On 1 May 2009, the two subsidiaries T -Mobile Crna Gora Crna Gora and the Internet were merged with the Crnogorski Telekom.

The Crnogorski Telekom divided its businesses into two brands:

  • T -Com ( fixed telephony and Internet)
  • T -Mobile (mobile communications )
