Czechoslovak Footballer of the Year

The title Czechoslovak Footballer of the Year was an honor that was awarded from 1965 to the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992 by the Czechoslovakian Sports Magazine Stadium in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Football Association. Were eligible to vote sportswriters and football coach.

The longtime Czechoslovak goalkeeper Ivo Viktor from Dukla Prague was a total of five times 1968-1976, and thus far the most frequently awarded.

The ceremony was replaced in 1993 by the election of the Footballer of the Year in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
