Dan Gable ( born October 25, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa) was an American wrestler

Career

Dan Gable attended the Waterloo West High School and began with the rings. Between 1963 and 1966, he remained undefeated in high school wrestling. After his high school days, he attended Iowa State University and wrestled there on extremely successful. In his high school and college years, he won 400 fights and lost only two. His career culminated in Olympic gold medal in Munich in 1972, he won so superior that it's " athleticism " in the Olympic special number called in the German magazine.
