Dan Harding

Daniel Andrew " Dan " Harding ( born December 23, 1983 in Gloucester) is an English football player who is under contract with the English second division Nottingham Forest since 2012.

Playing career

Brighton & Hove Albion

Dan Harding debuted on August 17, 2002 Brighton & Hove Albion in a 0-2 home defeat against Norwich City. 2004, the club won the play-off final of the Football League Second Division third-rate before 65 167 spectators at the Millennium Stadium against Bristol City 1-0. During the Football League Championship 2004/ 05, the left -back became a regular player of his team and reached the climber in the league in the new league.

Leeds United and Ipswich Town

On 7 June 2005 he signed a three -year contract with Leeds United. With his new team pulled Harding ( 20 league games) into the play-off final of the Football League Championship 2005/06 ( 0:3 against FC Watford), but did not in the final game to use.

After just one season in Leeds, he left the club and moved on 4 August 2006 at Ipswich Town. He spent the following two seasons with Ipswich in the second division, but lost in the course of the 2007/08 season his place and then moved in the summer of 2008 on loan to third division side Southend United. On 29 January 2009 a further change was followed on loan to FC Reading.

Southampton FC

After his contract was not renewed in Ipswich, he signed on 22 July 2009 a two -year contract with Southampton FC. After just missing out on a play-off collection in the first season, Dan Harding won with the Saints the runner-up in the Football League One 2010/11. The success was enhanced by the choice of Dan Harding in the PFA Team of the Year the third division. Prior to 2010, the club won the Football League Trophy with a 4-1 in the final against Carlisle United. Even in the new league, the climbers found along well, reaching as runner-up of the Championship 2011/12 behind FC Reading direct walkover in the Premier League. Dan Harding, however, came after the signing of Danny Fox of Burnley FC not as they had hoped to use and, therefore, decided after three successful years in Southampton for a change of club.

Nottingham Forest

July 28, 2012 Dan Harding signed a three -year contract with Nottingham Forest.
