The stadium De Vliert is a football stadium in the southern Netherlands city of 's - Hertogenbosch, the capital of the province of North Brabant. The football club FC Den Bosch will use the stadium for their home matches. From 1998 to 2008, the plant was named Ecco Stadium; after the then main sponsor.

History

The original stadium was in 1951, inter alia, with the athletics Olympic champion Fanny blanker - Koen, opened. At that time, sports facility had an athletics track, took 30,000 spectators and was at the time one of the largest stadiums in the Netherlands. In 1997, the old stadium was demolished and replaced by a new building without career. The playing field has been rotated through 90 °. The new home of FC Den Bosch consists of four separate, covered seating grandstands with a capacity of 9,000 visitors. In the four open corners of the pitch behind the floodlight pylons, there are buildings that run down pointed outward, giving the stadium a characteristic shape. To the Stadium are five football fields and large parking areas.
