The Lavans Stadium (formerly Stadium De Braak ) is a football stadium in the southern Netherlands city of Helmond, North Brabant province. It is the home of the football club Helmond Sport. Since April 2010, the stadium is named after the Dutch company for hygiene systems Lavans.

History

The stadium witnessed his 1967 inauguration. Today it consists of three covered grandstands, with a Hintertorbereich is open. The ranks are not at ground level, but are increased to concrete bases. This improves inter alia, the view of the playing field. The ranks have 4,100 covered seats, of which 400 seats are provided for the visiting fans. There are houses and garages that are used by the residents as free parking at the open side of the stadium. Each of the four towers of floodlights has 20 lights and the stadium is equipped to the VIP seats with red plastic seats. Around the stadium are twelve football fields of different sizes.

In the 1990s, the renovation of the venue began. In 1994, a new grandstand on the east was completed with a business lounge. Three years later, the second rank spectators was built on the pitch long side. The old standing terrace behind the goal was in 2000 replaced by a seat rank. In 2007, we removed the security fences at the grandstands.
