Dejan Stanković ( born September 11, 1978 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player. From 2004 to 2013 he played for Inter Milan. Career

Clubs

Dejan Stanković comes from the youth department of FK Red Star Belgrade, where he went through all the youth teams. His debut in the senior team Red Star Belgrade he graduated in 1994 in the match against FK Budućnost Podgorica. He quickly became an integral part of the team. Before start of the season 1997/98 he was appointed at the age of 19 years to the team captain. He was the youngest captain in the club's history.
