Denise Perrier

Denise Perrier Lanfranchi ( born 1935 ) is a former French model and actress. It is still the only French woman who was able to win the title of Miss World.

Biography

Winning the Miss World election and work as an actress

The boarder originally wanted to be an archaeologist before them as 18 -year-old took part in the Miss World contest. In the third edition of the beauty contest on 19 October 1953 at London's Lyceum Theatre Denise Perrier won against 14 competitors and won the title in front of the Greek Ladikou Alexandra and Marina Papaelia from Egypt.
