Diocese of Kuopio
The Diocese of Kuopio is one of nine dioceses of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The diocese was founded in 1939 and is the easternmost diocese of Finland. The bishop of the diocese is Riekkinen since 1996 will. The Diocese of Kuopio includes landscapes Savo, North Karelia and Kainuu as well as smaller parts of South Savo and Central Finland. Episcopal see is the cathedral of Kuopio.
