Dolní Pohleď

Dolni Pohleď ( German Pochled ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 17 kilometers northeast of Vlašim at the Sázava and belongs to Okres Kutná Hora.

Geography

Dolni Pohleď located to the right of the Sázava on a narrow ridge between the valleys of the Sázava and Ostravský creek in the Bohemian- Moravian height. Through the village the state roads 336 of Uhlířské Janovice lead 126 of Zbraslavice after Zruč nad Sázavou and the D1 motorway, as well as to the D 1 at Loket. Dolni Pohleď is on the railway from Havlíčkův Brod to Zruč nad Vltavou, where the location below the location of train stop named Horka nad Sázavou.

Neighboring towns are Zelivec in the north, Slavošov in the northeast, and Pertoltice Měchonice in the east, and Lažiště Vlastějovice the southeast, Horka II in the South, Domahoř and Buda in the southwest, Zruč nad Sázavou in the west and Dubina in the northwest.

History

Dolni Pohleď was first documented in 1543. At the end of the 19th century, the place with the construction of the line in Sázava valley received a railroad connection. Today Dolni Pohleď consists of 32 houses and has retained its agricultural character.

The village Dolni Pohleď consists of the districts Dolni Pohleď ( Pochled ) and Měchonice ( Miechonitz ).
