Dolní Těšice

Dolni Těšice ( German sub Tieschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north of Kelč and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

Dolni Těšice is on the left above the basic source of the stream Hluboký creek in the Kelečská pahorkatina ( Keltscher hill country). North-east rises the Stražisko (335 m), to the east of the Na Stráži (370 m ) and southwest of the Strážné ( 399 m). To the north- west spreads the forest area Nihlovský les.

Neighboring towns are Skalička and Kamenec in the north, Zámrsky in the northeast, and Nemetice Kladeruby in the east, in the southeast Komárovice, Kelč in the south, Rouské the southwest, Horni Těšice in the west and Nové Sady and Ústí in the northwest.

History

After the Olomouc Bishop Heinrich Zdik large parts of Duke Otto II of Eastern Moravia, including the Gau Kelč, had acquired, he let colonize these areas by Bohemian settlers. In 1131 the newly created villages Cesici and Čechovice were first mentioned. Bishop Theodoric of Neuhaus belehnte 1302 Knights of Ondřej Čechovice with the waste already lying again for some time Češice village. It is unclear whether this Horni or Dolni Těšice is meant. In 1380 the place as Maius Tyeschicze, 1389 as Tyessicze Magnum, 1508 as Dolni Těšice, 1517 Těšice and 1557 was referred Velké Těšice. The Episcopal vassals were among others 1395 Otto von Tannfeld, 1479 Wenzel von Tannfeld, 1527 Heralt of Kunštát on Boleradice and 1602 Viktorin of Zierotin. During the Thirty Years War, the fief was confiscated and part of the episcopal rule Kelč. As of 1676 the place down Tieschitz and from 1751 was lower Tieschitz called. The oldest town seal bears the inscription PECETOBCEDOLNOTIESCHICK. In 1791 the village consisted of 20 houses and had 130 inhabitants. Until the mid-19th century Dolno Těšice remained subservient always Kelč, where it was also gepfarrt.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dolni Těšice / sub Tieschitz formed in 1850 a part of the community Horni Těšice in the District Commission Holle show. 1855 Dolni Těšice was assigned to the District Moravian white churches. 1869 lived in Dolni Těšice 135 people, in 1900 there were 119 Since 1879 Dolni Těšice formed its own community. 1924 lived in 21 houses of Dolni Těšice 119 people. In 1950, the city had 94 inhabitants. After the abolition of Okres Hranice Dolni Těšice in 1960 associated with the Okres Přerov. In 1964, the merger with Horni Těšice to a community Těšice. This was in 1976, first joined the Local National Committee Skalička and incorporated since 1983 entirely by Skalička. Since November 24, 1990 Dolni Těšice again forms a separate municipality.
