Oprostovice

Oprostovice ( German Oprostowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers east of Přerov and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

Oprostovice is located south of the Maleníkwaldes in Podbeskydská pahorkatina ( Vorbeskidenhügelland ). The village is located on the left side above the valley of the brook Vidláčský creek on a knoll in the headwaters of the creek Oprostovický creek. South-east rises the Dubanec (310 m) and in the south of Kleštěnec (287 m).

Neighboring towns are Vidláč and Lhota in the north, Radotín and Soběchleby in the northeast, Dolni Nětčice and Horni Nětčice in the east, Simre and Žákovice the southeast, Lhotsko, Blazice and Radkova Lhota in the south, Bezuchov the southwest, Sisma and Prusínky in the west and Sušice, Kudlov and Kladníky in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the town was made in 1241. Documented detectable Zoprostowicz since 1368 as the seat of Vladiken Jezdon of Zoprostowicz. The place name is derived by Bohumil Zlámal of a Vladiken Oprosta ago. In 1397 Erhart sold by Zoprostowicz the festivals to Vitek from Roštění. Other forms of the name were Oprostovice (1415 ), Oprostowicze ( 1437), Opprostowitz (1675 ) and Oprostowitz (1771 ). Other owners belonged January Lapka, the 1447 sold the festivals of Peter Lhotka. In the 16th century, the village became part of the dominion Dřevohostice. Charles the Elder of Zerotein sold in 1617, the rule with the associated villages Turovice, Nahošovice, Hradcany, Sisma, Pavlovice, Prusínky, Kladníky, Bezuchov, Oprostovice, Žákovice, Mrlínek, Sovadina, Lhota, Radkovy, Lipová and Křtomil for 95,000 Moravian florins to Jan Skrbenský of Hriste. After participating in the uprising in 1618 he lost after the Battle of White Mountain, his goods. The rule Dřevohostice was sold to Zdeněk Vojtěch Popel of Lobkowicz. Zdenek's son Wenzel Eusebius von Lobkowicz was sold in 1635 the villages Sisma, Kladníky, Bezuchov, Oprostovice, Žákovice, Mrlínek, Sovadina, Radkova Lhota, Radkovy, Lipová and Křtomil to the owner of the domain Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Johann Anton von Rott Valley. The parish registers are performed in Soběchleby since 1718. The oldest town seal shows a band, rimmed by a heart, a crown and a orb and the inscription PECET DIEDINI OPROSTOWIC. 1847 destroyed by the great fire 19 of 31 wooden houses of the village. In the reconstruction of Oprostovice the first brick Chaluppen emerged. Until the mid- 19th century, the village remained submissive after Bystřice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Oprostovice / Oprostowitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Holle show. The volunteer fire department was formed in 1943. During the German occupation of the town in 1942 was assigned to the District Moravian white churches, after the end of World War II came Oprostovice 1945 back to Okres Holešov. In 1949 the parish was assigned to the Okres Přerov. 1976 Oprostovice was the Local National Committee Dřevohostice connected and incorporated in 1983 entirely by Dřevohostice. Since 1990 Oprostovice again forms a separate municipality.
