East Hertfordshire
East Hertfordshire is a District in the county of Hertfordshire in England. Council is based in Bishop's Stortford; significant sights are Hertford ( the traditional administrative center of the county), Buntingford, Sawbridgeworth and Ware.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Municipal Borough Hertford, the Urban Districts Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and goods as well as the Rural Districts Braughing, Ware and Hertford.
