Edward D. Crippa

Edward David Crippa ( born April 8, 1899 in Rock Springs, Sweetwater County, Wyoming; ibid. † October 20, 1960 ) was an American politician ( Republican), who represented the state of Wyoming in the U.S. Senate.

After attending school in Wyoming Crippa Edward served as a private during World War II in the U.S. Army. After his return to the U.S. he belonged from 1926 to 1928 the city council of his hometown of Rock Springs. As a result, he embarked on a career as an entrepreneur: In 1930, he became president of the Union Mercantile Company, and later owner and manager based in Rock Springs Crippa Motor Company and President of the North Side State Bank and Director of Rock Springs Fuel Company.

His first public office took over Crippa 1941. Highway As a commissioner, he was until 1947 a member of the government of Wyoming.
