Elisabeth Shue

Elisabeth Judson Shue ( born October 6, 1963 in Wilmington, Delaware ) is an American actress, film producer and singer.

Life and career

As the only girl among four siblings Elisabeth Shue grew up in South Orange, New Jersey. She studied political science at Wellesley College. Her brother Andrew Shue is also an actor.

After some initial appearances in commercials while studying Shue gained her first acting experiences in the early 1980s in the television series The greed for fame, where she played the role of Jackie Sarnac on the side of Craig T. Nelson. In the 1980s it was primarily subscribed to the role of " cute girl next door ", which was mainly due to their role in the trilogy Back to the Future, in the second and third part she appeared.
