Elizna Naudé

Elizna Naudé ( born September 14, 1978 in Vereeniging ) is a South African discus thrower.

In the Africa Championships in 1998 in Dakar, she won gold at the Pan-African Games in 1999 and in Johannesburg bronze.

In 2002, she finished sixth at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and won bronze at the African Championships in Radès.

After gold medals at the Pan-African Games in Abuja in 2003 and the Africa Championships in 2004 in Brazzaville she was disqualified in the qualifying for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005.

In 2006, she won at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the African Championships in Bambous, at the 2007 Pan-African Games in Algiers and 2008 at the African Championships in Addis Ababa. However, for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin she came again does not go beyond the first round.

2010 in Nairobi, it was the fourth time in a row Africa champion. In the Continental Cup in Split and at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, she was seventh, respectively. The Pan-African Games 2011 in Maputo and at the African Championships 2012 in Porto Novo, she won silver.
