Éloyse Lesueur

Eloyse Lesueur ( born July 15, 1988 in Créteil ) is a French long jumper and reigning World Indoor champion.

Career

Eloyse Lesueur won at the World Junior Championships 2005 in Marrakech with 6.28 m silver medal in the long jump and was in 11.69 s seventh in the 100 -meter run. In 2006, she competed at the Junior World Championships in Beijing in the heptathlon, but could not finish the race. In the Junior European Championships in 2007 in Hengelo was 6.34 m second in the long jump. At the World Indoor Championships in Valencia in 2008 it was 6.60 m with fourth. At the 2009 European U23 Championships in Kaunas was 6.72 m and third in the World Championships in Berlin she parted with 6.40 m in the qualifier. The European Team Championships 2010 in Bergen Eloyse Lesueur won the long jump competition with a new personal best of 6.78 m. At the European Championships in Barcelona she was indeed in the French squad, but did not start. At the 2011 European Indoor Championships in Paris, she was 6.59 m in fourth. The following year she won with 6.81 m title at the European Championships in Helsinki. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 she won with 6.67 m in eighth place. In March 2013, it won the silver medal in the long jump at the European Indoor Athletics Championships 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

At the World Indoor Championships 2014 in Sopot ( Poland), she won the title in the long jump.

Lesueur was from 2010 to 2013 four consecutive French champion in the long jump. The 1.79 m tall athlete starts for Saint Denis emotion.
