Erik Meijer ( born August 2, 1969 in Meerssen, Limburg) is a former Dutch football player. He was managing director until 2012 Sport at Alemannia Aachen.

Erik Meijer began his career in his hometown at SV Meerssen. At 16 he moved to MVV Maastricht to a year later Fortuna Sittard to join. Professionally he finished teaching a butcher because his father owned a butcher shop. Hence also be up today valid nickname " The Butcher ".
