Erin Densham

Erin Densham (born 3 May 1985 in Camden or Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia ) is an Australian professional triathlete, participant in the 2008 Olympic Games and 2012 U23 World Champion of 2006, Elite -Oceania champion of 2007 and three -time winner of the Continental Cup in 2010.

Career

Erin Densham visited the Rose Public School and the John Therry Catholic High School and graduated with a degree as a trainer (Certificate III in Fitness).

At the age of 16 she started with Triathlon and 2006 Densham was U23 world champion. In 2009, Erin Densham had to deal with health problems. So she contracted the glandular disease, suffered from tachycardia attacks and in De Mouns (Hy -Vee ) had to be recovered from the water.

In 2010, Densham came also at the prestigious French Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux. At the opening triathlon in Dunkirk she could win on May 23, 2010 Silver and thus help as best of three triathletes classants l' équipe Poissy Tri their club to a gold medal.

It is now coached by Jonathan Hall and lives in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.

The Australian Triathlon Federation nominated Densham for a place at the Olympic Games in London, along with Emma Jackson and Emma Moffatt.

In the seven years from 2004 to 2010 Densham took part in 44 ITU competitions and achieved 22 top ten courses in total, including 8 gold medals.
