Estarvielle

Estarvielle is a commune with 31 (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Hautes -Pyrénées in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It belongs administratively to the district Bagneres- de -Bigorre and Canton Bordères -Louron.

Geography

The municipality is located in the historical county of Bigorre, in the Pays d' Aure. Neighboring municipalities are:

  • Cazaux- Fréchet - Anéran Camors in the northwest,
  • Mont in the West,
  • Loudervielle in the south
  • Armenteule in the southwest, as well as
  • Adervielle - Pouchergues in the West.

The municipality of the capital is in the Vallée du Louron the river Neste you Louron which also runs through Bordères -Louron. The majority of its territory is mostly mountainous country in altitudes and forest up to the 1100 meters dar. Since this is hardly settled, resulting in a total very low population density.
