Estonia at the 1936 Summer Olympics

Estonia participated in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin with a delegation of 33 athletes participate. It was the last part of the country as an independent state prior to attending the Olympic Games in 1992. In 1940 the country was occupied by the Soviet Union and the Estonian athletes took part in the following years as part of the Soviet team.

For Estonia, a group of physics students took part in an occasion of the Olympic Games organized exchange event.

For the wrestler competitions Kauba John, Charles and John Kullisaar Villemson acted as judges. in boxing competition Peeter Matsov was judge in various struggles.
