Estudiantes de La Plata

The Club Estudiantes de La Plata is an Argentine football club based in La Plata, Buenos Aires province.

History

The association founded by students at the August 4, 1905 was when he won his big time at the end of the 1960s, three times in succession the Copa Libertadores. Remarkable

The nickname of the team are " la Pincharrata " ( the rats Piekser ) - which stems from the fact that the medical school at the University of La Plata is particularly famous, the students like to impale rats - and " El León ".
