Ewa District, Nauru

Ewa is a part of the constituency Anetan a district on the Pacific island of Nauru in the northern part of the island. Here is the northernmost point of the main island, Cape Anne. In the field Ewas Arubo, is named after the former name of a piece of land there.

Friedrich Gründl, the first Catholic priest to Nauru, could be the end of 1902 in Arubo down and let one each Catholic elementary school and church building. The former school is now the largest private school in Nauru, the Catholic Kayser College. In addition, in Ewa is the seat of the Nauruan largest private company, Capelle & Partner.

Ewa is 1.2 km ² and has 446 inhabitants. It borders Baiti in the west, to the east and Anetan Anabar to the south.
