FC Nöttingen

The FC Nöttingen is a sports club from the district Remchinger Nöttingen with divisions for football, table tennis and Schnürles. The club colors of the 800 -member association are purple and white.

History

The FC Nöttingen was founded July 2, 1957, 30 years after the end of the previous club TSV Germania or Nöttingen.

By 2004, the way the football team led steadily upward in 1969 by the B- to the A-Class, 1972 in the District League, in the 1996 national league, in 1997 the Association League, in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg. 2002 In 2004 the team managed by the former KSC professionals Gerd Dais as a coach and Michael Wittwer as defense chief surprising promotion to the Regionalliga Süd, but where it hardly got beyond the role of a point sources and as Table direct relegated again could not prevent.

2012 was the first time win the BFV - Pokal FC Nöttingen. In the following season, although the FCN lost BSV Cup final against Karlsruher SC, but this was enough for the renewed participation in the DFB Cup, as the KSC had already qualified as a third league champion. In the first round of the season 2013/14, the Purple and Whites lost before 12,470 spectators in Karlsruhe Wildlife Park stadium with 0-2 against Schalke 04 and dropped out.
