Federico Castelluccio

Federico Castelluccio ( born April 29, 1964 in Naples ) is an Italian- American actor and painter. A wider audience, he became known for his role as Furio Giunta on the television series The Sopranos.

Life

Castelluccio was born the son of a dyeing worker and a seamstress and has an older brother and an older sister. With nearly 4 years he moved in 1968 with his family to Paterson (New Jersey) in the United States, where he grew up. 1982 Castelluccio was awarded a scholarship at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and media arts. Shortly before graduating to the BFA Castelluccio was given the opportunity to paint a picture for the actor and comedian George Burns.

Play-acting

Federico Castelluccio began his acting career in 1986. Films in which he participated, among others Made with Jon Favreau, Fire with Robert Klein and No one gets out alive here with Danny Aiello. On television, he was in New York Cops - NYPD Blue and in his most famous role as Tony Sopranos Furio Giunta Neapolitan protector in the series The Sopranos to see.

Castelluccios recent film projects include the biopic El Cantante with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, Aftermath, a crime thriller with Michael Anthony Hall and Chris Penn and The Obscure Brother, a self-produced by him and turned in the South film in which he also has a role played. He played in 2003 with David Zayas and Otto Sanchez in La Araña. In the published 2008 Comedy Capers he played with Danny Masterson. On television, Castelluccio was last seen in the lead role of the series Dragon Dynasty. 2010 could be him in the episode Who can produce the best TV spot? the series Kenny vs.. Spenny see.

Castelluccio is currently represented by Robyn Ziegler Management.

Painting

Castelluccio is also active as a painter. His paintings are based on Italian and Dutch masters of the Renaissance and Baroque periods and were, among others, in galleries in New York City, Washington, DC and Santa Fe ( New Mexico) issued. Parts of his works are included in collections of the Yale Fine Art Museum and Kresge Art Museum and in private collections in the United States, South America and Europe. In 2006 he was committed and the actor Paul Sorvino for a commissioned work. The plant was permanently installed in a hospital in Boca Raton (Florida ).

Music

During his time at the School of Visual Arts to Castelluccio tried on drums. He jumped in 2008 again as a guest drummer on the American tour of Boz Scaggs.
