Fedor Polishchuk

Fyodor Vasilyevich Polishchuk (Russian Фёдор Васильевич Полищук; born July 4, 1979 in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh professional ice hockey player who plays since 2010 with Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League.

Career

Fyodor Polishchuk began his career in 1998 in the second Russian league in Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk. 2004 changed the striker for Russian club Metallurg Novokuznetsk, where he played only one season. After that, he was obliged by the Russian first division club SKA St. Petersburg for two seasons. From 2006 to 2010 he was back at Metallurg Novokuznetsk under contract. In 2010 he moved to league rivals Barys Astana.

Internationally

For Polishchuk Kazakhstan took part in the junior level at the U20 World Junior Championship in 1999. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships B- 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2011, and at the A World Championships in 2004 and 2005. Moreover, he represented Kazakhstan at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
