History

On Biberg in Uttenhofen there were two jumps from the 1970s. In Saalfelden even existed between 1950 and 1980 the Ritzenseeschanze and the Three Fir jump, both operated by local ski club SK Saalfelden and the Army Sports Club. The Bibergschanze came in 1986 to do so. In 2004 they built the K -45 ski jump to a K -60 hill and the two small hills were covered with mats for summer operation. The new K 60 was finally inaugurated on 10 October 2004 and the ski jumping center in honor of Nordischkombinierers Felix Gottwald, a member of the Saalfeldner ski club was renamed Felix Gottwald ski jump stadium. In addition, here the Nordic Junior World Championships were held in 1988 and 1999. From 2005 to 2007 found here jumping place in the framework of the Continental Cup Ladies.
