The German Fragrance Award is the highest award of the German perfume industry. The DUFTSTARS be awarded annually in Germany since 1993.

History

The idea to honor perfumes with this award, goes back to the American Fragrance Foundation, which in 1973 established the award. The prize is currently awarded in four categories: Classics, Exclusive, Lifestyle and Prestige.

Since 1997, outstanding personalities are honored by this prize at irregular intervals. Since 2000, honors the Fragrance Foundation fragrance classics that were three times winner in the category Classic, with induction into the Hall of Fame. Since 2004, the Fragrance Foundation awards the perfume price on behalf of all consumers and consumers.

Trophy
