The FK Budućnost Podgorica is a football club from the Montenegrin capital Podgorica. Budućnost Podgorica is considered the most popular and most traditional club in Montenegro. The Serbian word Budućnost means " future".

History

The Budućnost Podgorica was founded in 1925. The club colors are blue and white. The club was founded in 1975 awarded by the Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito with the Order of " brotherhood and unity ". FK Budućnost in the European Cup

At the time of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia reached Buducnost Podgorica twice to participate in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. This was in 1995 and 2005. The as VARVARI ( to German Barbarian ) known trailer Budućnost Podgorica traditionally support all clubs in the Budućnost family. They are the most organized group of fans Montenegro.

The fan community is considered very loyal. On 15 December 2007, in the home game against OFK Petrovac fans celebrated the 19 anniversary of the Fangruppe VARVARI. FK Budućnost Podgorica has its fans not only in Podgorica but in all of Montenegro. Although most fans are Montenegrins had FK Budućnost, so also today, still fans from all ethnic groups ( Montenegrins, Bosniaks, Serbs ) in Montenegro.
