Florent Brard

Florent Brard ( born February 7, 1976 in Chambray -lès -Tours ) is a French cyclist.

Florent Brard began his professional career in 1999 with the French cycling team Festina. In his third and final year there, he was very successful. It was not until he decided in February a stage of the Etoile de Bessèges for themselves. Later, he won both the Coupe de France belonging day races GP Cholet and Paris- Bourges and ended up in the overall standings in second place behind the towering Laurent Brochard. In the summer he became a French national time trial champion and was allowed to take in the Tour de France start.

After one year each at Crédit Agricole in 2003, he moved to Marlux, the later team chocolate Jacques. In 2004, he was able to secure a stage win at Paris- Corrèze. After a year at the Professional Continental team Agritubel 2006 he changed to the Spanish ProTour team Caisse d' Epargne and became a French road champion.

In 2008 he moves to the French team Cofidis. End of the 2009 season, he ended his active career.
