Florian Graf
Florian Graf ( born July 24, 1988 in Freyung ) is a German biathlete.
At the age of seven years was brought to the cross-country skiing at the Winter sale Eppenschlag Florian Graf of his older siblings Catherine and Mark. Earl began under coach Hans Wallner after several successes in the long run soon with the sport of biathlon. The first biathlon victory with twelve years followed in the season 2002/ 03 the overall win in the German Cup in the age group 15 students He then moved up to 15 years in the Berchtesgaden Skigymnasium and in August 2004 the customs Ski Team to Ruhpolding. In the winter of 2005/ 06, the first missions followed in the Junior European Cup. He finished in second place in the sprint at the Youth World Championships in Presque Isle (USA).
International was his first great success winning the Youth World Cup 2007 in the Italian Martell. The following year he was able to win a title in the juniors in Ruhpolding, but showed his skills with two second, a third and a fifth place overall as the best German. In the Junior European Cup in 2007/ 08 he scored three victories. At the national level it only the World Cup experienced Michael Rösch, Christoph Stephan scored a victory with the season Bayern III in the German Senior Championships 2007., Christoph knee and Andreas Birnbacher showed there a better individual performance. These successes have led to the classification in the performance group 2a of the C- squad at the German Biathlon National Team.
Among his first assignments in the World Cup Graf came in the season 2010/11. First, he was allowed to go in Pokljuka sprint at the start. There he took a 84th place. For the season finale in Oslo he came to further operations. With strong finishes in the sprint and pursuit of the squares 14 and 12, he qualified for the mass start and took tenth place with his first top ten place in the fourth World Cup race. In the following season 2011/12 Bayer was an integral part of the World Cup team. After a moderate start to the season in Ostersund, he succeeded in Hochfilzen better results with seventh place in the sprint and finished eighth in the pursuit. This Graf created the standard for the world championships in Ruhpolding. After the year he again succeeded both in Oberhof sprint, as well as in individual races of Nové Město na Moravě seventh ranks. Another good result it reached in Oslo for eighth place in the persecution and thus secured a single start at the home World Championships. In the sprint, he was 34, in pursuit, he dropped back to 38. End of the season in Russia's Khanty-Mansiysk Graf reached the best result of his World Cup career in the last race of the season.
