The cover showed a seemingly flying through space comets, where it was a photo of NASA that was used here. Although it was an album the group was, probably for marketing reasons, the name Ace Frehley placed at the top, so that it looked as if it were Frehley solo album with the title Frehley 's Comet. The logo of the band was shown centered in the lower third of the cover.

On the back cover of a group photo was seen that the photographer Ebet Roberts had taken. The debut album of the band reached on June 20, 1987 No. 43 on the Billboard 200 and stayed 23 weeks in the charts.

Reception

Metal Hammer wrote the roadmap of the album and will " significantly after the first few sounds. " The band turn " the guitar until it stops on " and let " the drums crash. " This is " Heavy Rock pure, simple and straightforward here, skillfully virtuosity there. " Frehley draw out all the stops, have " the blo8en rock n'Roller there until the potential chart contenders everything on the box. "Kiss echoes when Eric Carr co - authored Breakout, commercially it will be with the written by Russ Ballard Single into The Night and " the respect for veteran Alice Cooper" will paid in Dolls. What the LP distinguishing in particular, is variety.
