The Furkelpass (also Furkelsattel; Italian Passo Furcia, gadertalisch - Ladin Ju de Furcia ) is a 1789 m high mountain pass in the Dolomites, in the Italian province of South Tyrol. The pass lies between the 2275 m high Kronplatz in the north and 2507 meters high Piz da Peres in the south and connects the towns Olang in Val Pusteria and San Vigilio.

The pass road is 19 kilometers long and covers a difference in altitude of 744 meters. The average slope is 12 %, the maximum slope of 15%. A road which has repeatedly attracted the "Giro d' Italia " (1981, 1994, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 ), as well as the " Transalp " ( crossing the Alps by bike) and other cyclists, of which some cars on the slope to the Kronplatz.

The pass is open in winter. As he crosses the Kronplatz ski resort, skiers are routed through a bridge over the mountain pass. From the pass there is a direct connection to the Kronplatz and to San Vigilio.

Since 2003, at the pass also an artificial lake, which is required for artificial snow.

What was once a refuge on the Furkelpass a hotel were ( with the public bar ) and a restaurant, which operated as a "Self Service" in the winter and serves simple food in the summer, built.
