Fürstenried West (Munich U-Bahn)
Metro Station Fuerstenried West of the Munich U -Bahn was opened on 1 June 1991 and is the terminus of the U3.
The city limits lies in a westerly direction in the vicinity of the railway station, a further construction to Neuried is conceivable. The rear track walls are made of piles, which are interrupted by vertical yellow fins. The ceiling consists of rounded reflectors on which is fixed a light band. The platform itself is designed with triangular Isarkiesel motif. It is located about 10 meters below the Neurieder road. Near the railway station is a park-and -ride garage. At the western end Neurieder road and a bus station can be reached. At the eastern end is also obtained for Neurieder road.
On June 2, 1991, just one day after the opening of the final destination, the tram line No. 16 ( Harras - Neurieder road ) was shut down.
