Then were posts of Nine Inch Nails itself, but also remixes by Rick Rubin, JG Thirlwell ( Foetus ), Charlie Clouser, Aphex Twin and others. The album was released in the U.S. and Europe in two different versions, some of which overlap.

Already the predecessor Broken EP was released with Fixed a remix release and completely analogous there was The Fragile ( 1999) Things Falling Apart a remix EP.
