Garig-Gunak-Barlu-Nationalpark

The Garig - Gunak - Barlu National Park (formerly Gurig National Park ) is an association founded in 2000 National Park on the Cobourg Peninsula in Australia's Northern Territory management unit, 570 km north-east of Darwin. The land area of the park is 2207 km ², the total area with parts of the Arafura Sea 4500 km ². The park was created from the merger of the Gurig National Park on the Cobourg Marine Park. The nearest town is Jabiru.

The park covers the entire peninsula and consists of floodplains, swamps, eucalyptus forests, palm trees, mangroves and coral reef in the upstream Cobourg Marine Park. It is owned by the Aborigines and is co-managed by the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory.
