Germany women's national under-23 football team

The German national football team U-23 women represented Germany in international women's football. The national team was founded in 2007 and replaced the former U-21 national team. Training is the team of Ulrike Ballweg, who is also assistant coach of the senior national team.

As was "U -23 " was created by FIFA nor UEFA an official competition for the female age group, was the Nordic Cup as the most important date for this selection teams to compete the strongest European organizations including the American Association a to determine the winner. The Nordic Cup was thus considered the unofficial European Championship. As of 2007, the tournament's female age group U23 is reserved.
