History

The Glanford Park in Scunthorpe, an English town in the county of North Lincolnshire, was built in 1988. In the same year he was inaugurated on 14 August 1988 by Princess Alexandra, Lady Ogilvy and solemnly at Scunthorpe United, the new owner of the stadium, passed. New building plans

At the AGM 2013, the club chairman Peter Swann announced plans for a new stadium. The new venue will have 12,000 seats with the possibility of expansion to 18,000 seats. The budget for the new building is to be 17 to 18 million pounds. Completion is targeted for 2015. To finance the new arena including the Glanford Park to be sold.
