Wederson Luiz da Silva Medeiros (born 22 July 1981 in Campos, Brazil) in Turkey known as Gökçek Vederson, is a football player with Turkish and Brazilian nationality.

Playing career

In youth Wederson played for Internacional, Vasco da Gama and Juventude. He got his first professional contract with Brazilian club Ituano FC. There he played for two years before he went to Turkey; the then second division Ankaraspor. In the first season, Wederson conquered a regular place and was instrumental in the rise in the season 03/ 04 in the Süperlig.

In the following two years Wederson drew attention to himself by great achievements in Süperlig Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce signed him on 11 June 2007 for 3 years. He plays as an attacking midfielder or left winger. On 19 September 2007, he played against Inter Milan his first Champions League game. Fenerbahçe won the game 1-0. His first goal for the Blue - Yellow Wederson shot on 20 October 2007 against Konyaspor.

For the 2010/2011 season he moved on a free transfer to Fenerbahce champions Bursaspor. His first goal for Bursaspor he scored against Galatasaray Istanbul from about 40 yards with a shot from distance.

After Vedersons contract had expired in the summer of 2013, he moved to Medical Park Antalyaspor.
