Gollé (also: Golley ) is a rural municipality in the department of Dosso in Niger.
Geography
Gollé lies in the large landscape Sudan. The neighboring municipalities are Garankédey in the north, Dosso and Goroubankassam in the northeast, Farey and Yelou the southeast, Sambéra in the south, Guilladjé in the southwest, and Kankandi Birni N'Gaouré in the west and N'Gonga and Kiota in the northwest. The municipality is divided into 36 administrative villages, 14 traditional villages and eleven stock. The main town of the rural community is the administrative village Gollé (also: Golley ).
History
The rural community Gollé was founded in 2002 at a nationwide administrative reform a part of the canton Dosso forth. When the floods in West and Central Africa 2010 180 inhabitants of Gollé were classified as disaster victims.
Population
At the 2001 census Gollé had 19,950 inhabitants. For the year 2010 26.686 inhabitants were calculated.
Economy and infrastructure
The municipality is located in a zone is operated in the rain-fed agriculture. By Gollé the National Road 1, which here is part of the international highway Dakar - N'Djamena - Highway runs.
