Gravon

Gravon is a commune of 145 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- et- Marne in the Île- de -France region; it belongs to Arrondissement Provins Canton and Bray- sur -Seine. The inhabitants call themselves Gravonais.

History

In the field of Gravon prehistoric and Gallo -Roman remains have been found.

Gravon is first handed in documents in the 11th century. The basic rule divided since the 13th century, several noble families.
